Open Call for Artwork by ASLD members
Exhibition Dates: NOV 19–DEC 12 2021
Location: Art Students League of Denver, 200 Grant St.
Opening Reception: Friday, November 19 | 5:30-8:30PM
Give A Little Art is a celebration of the range of artists and mediums in our community, and a chance to gift their work this holiday season! This salon-style showcase will highlight small-scale 2D and 3D works by members of ASLD. The French word ‘salon’ simply means ‘living room’ or ‘parlor.’ This exhibition will transform the ASLD galleries into an intimate, dynamic space for all visitors to peruse and purchase the artwork of ASLD faculty and members.
Entry Guidelines:
- This is a call for artwork of all mediums from artists who are members of ASLD. All subject matter will be considered.
- Priority will be given to smaller works, within the size 12″ x 12″ (unframed) or 14″ x 14″ (framed) for 2D works; 12″ x 12″ x 12″ absolute maximum for 3D works.
- 2D works must be wired for hanging. 2D Pieces without a wire may not be accepted.
- This is intended to be an affordable art show. All pieces should ideally be priced no higher than $250. Please consider what works you choose to submit accordingly.
- Inclusion in the exhibit will be judged based on creativity, originality, and quality of work. Preference will be given to works within size and pricing criteria.
