Social ME.dia is 1-Day Pop-Up exhibit and reception conceptualized and curated by the Teen Board Members and Teen Committee at Art Students League of Denver. In addition showcasing visual art by talented teens, this evening will feature music, artistic games, creation stations, friendly competitions, prizes and more.
Teenagers are defined by many facets of life: high school, the social scene, and even difficulties we face at home. But one ever-present theme in the complex definition of the teenage experience is social media. This exhibit allows teenagers to represent their titular thoughts on social media’s effect on teens while giving voice to topics, issues, and events relevant to teenage life. Little things, big things, and the hyper specific elements of a teen’s day-to-day are welcomed in the exploration of the effects of Social ME.dia.
