Featured works, collected from women artists across the globe by ASLD faculty member Sylvia Montero, advocate for change and act as a voice for this dark present/history. The featured artists are connected by their support of sisterhood and their belief that womanhood can be safe and healthy.

Since the initial creation of this portfolio of works, Secretary of the Interior Deb Haaland has announced the creation of a special unit to investigate missing and murdered Native Americans.
